Oosten — with The Seventh Art

Oosten is a luxury condominium on the Williamsburg waterfront designed by Dutch architect Piet Boon. The building offers a novel way of living in trendy Williamsburg, with oversized, open layouts, a large interior courtyard and panoramic city views.

The brand campaign was a collaborative process. The name Oosten, which means “east” in Dutch, is a nod to the architect’s heritage as well as the Chinese developer. The interiors were strongly influenced by the brand strategy, from the color palette to custom graphics by illustrator Dan Funderburgh. In addition to a brochure and website, the profile of the building was enhanced by ‘Burgh, a free magazine with original content about the neighborhood and its offerings.
