Content Curation + Feature Writing
As Instagram’s popularity as a social media platform skyrocketed, the company found itself needing to curate its still and video content in ways that were accessible, entertaining and targeted. Through content curation and copywriting, Rachel helped draw users’ attentions to Instagram features: Search & Explore, and editorial-style @Instagram channels.
For the Search & Explore section, Rachel wrote playful headers that guided users to various accounts and shed light on an array of makers. For the @Instagram and @InstagramforBusiness accounts, she interviewed content providers and wrote impactful features that offered insight into the various ways people used Instagram to promote their small-to-mid sized businesses.
